Who we are
FrontDeskCo is an AI receptionist service for small businesses, operated by LifeAware Technologies LLC ("we", "us"). This policy describes what information we handle when you interact with a business that uses FrontDeskCo, or when you use FrontDeskCo as a business owner.
Information we collect
- Call information: when you call a business that uses FrontDeskCo, we process the audio of the call in real time to have the conversation, and we create transcripts and summaries so the business can follow up. Caller ID (your phone number) is captured to route and return your call.
- Contact and request details: information you share during a call or text conversation — such as your name, address, and what service you need — is recorded so the business can do the work you asked for.
- Text messages: messages exchanged with a business's number are stored as part of that business's conversation history.
- Account information: for business owners, we store the account and configuration details needed to operate the service (business name, hours, notification contacts, calendar connections).
How we use it
- To answer and handle calls and texts on the business's behalf.
- To schedule appointments and send related confirmations.
- To alert business owners to urgent calls.
- To give the business a record of its own customer conversations.
What we don't do
- We do not sell personal information.
- We do not use your conversations to advertise to you.
- We do not share your information with anyone other than the business you contacted and the service providers needed to operate the platform (telephony, cloud hosting, AI processing).
Data retention
Call recordings, transcripts, and messages are retained for the business's operational use and deleted upon verified request where required by law.
Your choices
